I began my career in college working as an Adoption Counselor for a high volume animal shelter. I worked my way up within the shelter to managing behavioral evaluations as well as the spay/neuter clinic. After moving, I transferred my skills to working in both general practice and emergency veterinary clinics. In my free time I worked as a puppy raiser/trainer for a guide dog foundation.

My biggest passion within the animal field is working with service dogs. Helping people train dogs that can enable them to live a safe and normal life is incredibly rewarding, and it is always fun to watch the dogs succeed!

It is my goal that to support all students to develop and reach their own high expectations!
