Workplace Wednesday! This week's Workplace Wednesday highlight is Jovanny Amado! Jovany is a co-op student who works at Village Veterinary Hospital in New Bedford as a doggy daycare assistant! As a doggy daycare assistant he completes tasks such as maintaining spaces, cleaning and food prep, providing enrichment and closing out sessions at the end of the day. Jovannys favorite part of his job is being able to meet many new dogs and play with them at the daycare. This co-op position benefits him by allowing him to gain professional experience working at a doggy daycare and how to properly take care of the dogs. He enjoys being able to connect with people who share the same interests as him, having these connections can benefit him later on in his future career! Thank you Village Veterinary Hospital for providing our students with this hands-on experience to allow them to have the opportunity to experience the workforce! #BAPride #CultivatingExcellence #Dogs #DoggyDaycare #Assistant
