Workplace Wednesday! This week's Workplace Wednesday highlight is Maximus Fullen! Max is a junior co-op student who works at Ryco Excavating in Middleboro. He is a mechanic who works on a multitude of different vehicles such as semi trucks, skid steers, and pickup trucks. His favorite part of the job is having the opportunity to be able to do a variety of work such as working on engines and fabrication. This co-op position benefits Max because he plans on going straight into the workforce as a mechanic/fabricator as soon as he graduates high school. Thank you Ryco Excavating for providing our students with this wonderful opportunity to provide a better understanding of the workforce! #BAPride #CultivatingExcellence #Mehcanic #Co-op #Fabrication

Last week, sophomore Lindel Tucker attended 4-H National Conference in Washington, DC! Lindel got to meet students from around the country, and was part of a round table called Fostering Healthy Eating in Youth, with the challenge question of how MyPlate can work to better connect youth to their food and healthy eating. Her group of 14 worked for 2 days to create a 40 minute presentation for the USDA. She presented on Bristol Aggie's programs and how programs like Livestock and Floriculture help to connect students to their food! She also presented on food waste. Great job Lindel! #BAPride #CultivatingExcellence #4-H #HealthyEating #USDA

Workplace Wednesday! This weeks workplace Wednesday highlight is Lauren Stang! Lauren Stang is a junior co-op student who works at Shampooch LLC in Dartmouth. She is a dog bather who completes tasks such as preparing the dogs for hair cuts, washing the dogs, drying them, cleaning the dog’s ears, and trimming their toe nails. Lauren’s favorite part of her job is being able to work with many different dogs rather than working with the same dogs all the time. Lauren wants to be a dog trainer in the future so this co-op benefits her by giving her more experience with dog behavior! Thank you Shampooch LLC for providing our students with a wonderful opportunity to gain more experience in their interests! #BAPride #CultivatingExcellence #Co-op #Dogs #bather #Shampooch
