Natural Resource Management seniors are spending this quarter in Environmental Engineering! In their Climate Science course, students are looking at tree core samples to determine climate conditions and measure the thickness of each ring. Seeing how their tree has grown over time supports their studies on dendroclimatology, with thicker rings representing wetter years, and thinner rings representing drier years. #BAPride #CultivatingExcellence #EnvironmentalEngineering #NaturalResourceManagement #Dendroclimatology #Trees

Today, at morning assembly, we recognized 38 seniors who received the John and Abigail Adams scholarship based on their MCAS scores, which provides free tuition for up to 8 semesters toward a degree at MA state colleges or universities. #CultivatingExcellence #BAPride

Juniors in Arboriculture are learning about supplemental tree support systems! To enhance their lesson, students had the opportunity to drill in trees like they would need to do to install cables (systems which can help trees survive longer). The Senior class is outside cleaning up some storm damaged trees to help maintain our beautiful campus. Both classes are utilizing the latest innovations in arboricultural tools provided by Milwaukee. #BAPride #CultivatingExcellence #Arboriculture #Trees
