Freshman in the Natural Resource Management Exploratory acted as a wildlife biologist this week practicing a field technique called radio telemetry. Professionals in the field of wildlife management use this method to track and locate wildlife. This incredible collaboration brings together leaders across the Ag. Industry, our legislators and leaders at @Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources to tackle key agricultural challenges and innovations! 🎉 A special shoutout to our Arbor teacher Ms. Parent and students: Lex Macleod, Jaisin Rivet and Trenton Kockak – for an outstanding Chainsaw Safety & Maintenance session! Their professionalism, expertise, and engaging presentation, complete with a live demo, showcased what it truly means to be industry-ready. We couldn’t be prouder! 🌻 Inspiring Alumni Spotlight: We were honored to host Christina Russell of Wild Bean Flower Farm (@WildBeanFlowerFarm) and Lily Dias of Dias & Daughters Farm (@Dias&DaughtersFarm) for a session on their journeys from high school students to successful business owners. Students also had the opportunity to listen to guest speaker Vera Figlock, a Bristol Aggie graduate who is currently employed by the City of Fall River as an Animal Control Officer.
